COLLECTION #2 Sir Richard Wallace 1818–1890

COLLECTION #2 Sir Richard Wallace 1818–1890

PLEASE NOTE – galleries closed Sat 16 Feb.

A collaborative cultural project between ISLAND Arts Centre and R–Space Gallery showcasing artists Anna Campbell, Jayne Cherry’s and Vincent McDonnell’s work inspired by The Wallace Collection in London.

The Collection is housed in 25 galleries and comprises French 18th Century painting, furniture and porcelain and a world class armoury. 2018 marked the bicentenary of the birth of Sir Richard Wallace, philanthropic landlord and art collector, whose name lives on in many Lisburn landmarks.

Join Anthea McWilliams on a short guided Wallace walk from R–Space gallery through Castle Gardens to the ISLAND Arts Centre on Sat 2 Feb, 3pm.
