Art, it’s all about coming together

Art. It plays a big part in the life of a city and its community by increasing people’s wellbeing and providing a sense of place for everyone. From funding and training opportunities, information on local grants and bursaries to FREE workshops – there really is something for everyone!

Highlights of the coming season are Twilight Night by Fairy Light on Friday 26 October. This will be a spectacular night of SPARKling magic, entertainment and fireworks! We also see the return of our Murder Mystery Evening, ISLAND Youth Theatre, Community Circus Lisburn and Age on Stage.

The John Hewitt International Summer School Residency Award 2019

This award enables a local writer to spend a week at the popular Summer School in Armagh enjoying a varied programme of talks, readings and workshops led by a host of internationally renowned writers and speakers. (Food and accommodation are included).
