Singer songwriter Brigid O’Neill and her band blend great country blues with folk, jazz and bluegrass to produce a sound that delights the audience.
Brigid’s rich, clear voice is beautifully complemented by the mesmeric, driving rhythm of Jim Rainey’s guitar and the pulse of Bill Johnson’s upright bass, and their collective captivating, close vocal harmonies.
Together this three–piece has a great synergy. They create an exciting sound fuelled by Brigid’s heartfelt, strongly crafted songs telling tales of lives, loss and renewal, and bring an intimacy and variety to selected songs of others such as, Lucinda Williams, Brian Houston and Gillian Welch.
Brigid is a regular on the Irish Festival scene having appeared at Cathedral Quarter Out to Lunch Festival, Omagh Bluegrass Festival, Fiddler’s Green Festival, Open House Festival, Celtic Fusion Festival, and the Belfast Festival at Queens.
