Graffiti Classics aim to make classical music wickedly funny and exhilarating for young and old alike. This group pushes the elitist boundaries of the traditional string quartet with its hilarious all–singing, alldancing, musical comedy show.
It’s a classical concert, gypsy–folk romp, opera, stand–up comedy and a brilliant dance show all rolled into one! Graffiti Classics never fails to get audiences laughing, clapping and singing along. Kids and adults love the uplifting and virtuosic variety of musical styles, all tied together with cheeky audience interaction.
Graffiti Classics was founded by Cathal Ó Duill whilst street–performing in London. He realised that classical music could be fun for everyone through interaction and comedy. Having honed its craft on London’s streets, Graffiti Classics has developed a world class virtuosic show that offers a wickedly refreshing alternative to the stuffy elitist perception of classical concerts. www.graffiticlassics.com
