ISLAND’s Kids’ Arts Zone offers you a chance to get creative, relax and have fun with your children exploring the artworks in our galleries.

This drop-in anytime zone is full of activities including exhibition related art sheets which help children from tots to 12 year olds to explore and engage with the exhibitions in ISLAND's galleries.  Monthly 'Art Challenges' for children (and their adults) to complete can be taken home or displayed at ISLAND's dedicated children's mini gallery.

January’s challenge invites you to sculpt, cut and design frosty snow flakes to decorate the Arts Zone's winter landscape, while in February love is in the air with Scandinavian woven hearts, let floral art be the order of the day during March when children are encouraged to add to ISLAND's field of imagination and in April all things crafty will be Easter related.

So join us in the Zone and let your creative juices flow!

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the Art Zone. Normal opening hours apply, however access may be limited at times of exhibition set up.
