A young lad from Belfast, George Best was the first true celebrity footballer and an unforgettable sporting legend whose skill and courage embodied for many the spirit of the 1960s. His style and grace on the pitch, which set him above his fellow players, helped him take the international football stage by storm and inspired Pele to describe him as ‘the best player in the world’.
This dynamic and fast paced piece of dance theatre celebrates Best’s football genius and leads the audience through glimpses of his life, loves, lows and triumphs spanning a forty year period.
Choreographed by Andy Howitt with music from across the decades.
