Be Part of NI's Largest Arts Event
Land of Giants will be the largest arts event ever to take place in Northern Ireland and is happening June 2012 in Belfast's Titanic Slipway. The event is one of only four UK Community Celebrations funded by Legacy Trust UK, enabling communities to come together to stage large-scale outdoor celebrations as part of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad. Arts Council NI and NITB are also sponsoring the event. Combining acrobatics, aerial dance, carnival, circus, physical performance, music, multi-media and pyrotechnics, the event will present the region’s culture to an audience of over 20,000 people at the City’s newest open air events space. There are approximately 500 opportunities to get involved, for performance artists, arts practitioner and back stage - and both paid and voluntary. Please click here for more information.
