Mission Statement

"Lisburn City Council's Arts Service exists to provide a balanced and accessible programme of arts and cultural experience in a way that inspires its citizens and visitors to benefit from artistic engagement."

To achieve these values, 8 policy statements were created to provide Lisburn City Council with a strategic focus for the promotion and advancement of the arts both at and through Island Arts Centre, all of which have equal priority. Please see Arts Service Objectives for these.

To achieve these values, 4 themes have been created with a range of AIMS and OBJECTIVES to drive the strategy forward over the next 3 years.
