Mirenda Rosenberg Band

Mirenda Rosenberg Band

Mirenda Rosenberg is an energetic, engaging woman with a huge personality.…and she sings. This charismatic, evening dress wearing performer has an innate ability to create an intimate connection with the audience.

Originally from Illinois, Mirenda grew up outside Washington DC, where her father was an ordained minister. An upbringing of Gospel and Classical music was soon overtaken by a love for the great emotive Jazz singers such as Billie Holiday and Bessie Smith.

Mirenda, living in Ireland since 2005, has joined forces with musicians Marc Geagan, Zac Drummond, Alan Cooke, Emmet Brady and Kevin Lowry to create the Mirenda Rosenberg band. With a range of musical backgrounds and influences including Irish traditional, jazz, rock, and flamenco the band’s repertoire includes songs by Billie Holiday, the Police, and Otis Redding in addition to their original material.

Following TV appearances and a stunning performance for BBC radio, Mirenda is fast becoming a sensation.
